We are Stonewall
At Stonewall, we’re a team of driven, passionate people who pride ourselves on valuing each other and wanting to make a real, lasting difference to the lives of LGBTQ+ worldwide.
Our people make up a vibrant, dynamic community. Lots our staff have a personal investment in the work we do, and many come from marginalised backgrounds. We’re proud of this diversity, and of our support for one another – in our teams, our network groups, and our friendships.
We’re committed to embedding anti-racism into the fabric of our organisation through our Race Equity project, which includes a series of training for all staff and trustees. We also have network groups run by and for different groups within Stonewall. These include groups for bi, trans, PoC, ace, women, disabled staff and people of faith, along with a Mental Health and Wellbeing network.
In the past year our networks have organised fantastic internal and external engagement events, including a campaign around Ace Week, Bi Visibility Week, Black History Month, Disability History Month, as well as internal storytelling to support Mental Health Awareness Week and a Trans Joy weekend of events and performances. Our Mental Health and Well-Being Network also took the lead in preparing Stonewall’s submission for Mind’s Workplace Wellbeing Index.
We strive for an environment where there’s a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, and we work hard to accommodate access needs.
